Day 2

We've been on the go constantly. From the airports to downtown Dublin, we didn't sleep in 24 hours. Not only were we awkward American tourists, we were awkward American zombies who took pictures of every building, sign and green pasture. Speaking of green, I've never seen greener grass in my life. It's stunning (even more so when we traveled to Ballycastle today). Dublin reminded me of a cleaner and more compact New York City, plus the people are nicer. Our jet lag-ness caused our schedules to be jumbled and our eyes to droop every time our butts touched a seat. BUT (no pun), the day was wonderful. Here are my top highlights;

1. My first authentic pint of Guinness it did taste better in Ireland.
2. Our tour of the Jameson Distillery (pictures below) was not only educational but a monumental Irish experience. It's uncommon to visit a company at its roots.
3. We went to the Brazen Head Pub which is the oldest pub in Ireland. There we made friends and bonded over Britney Spears, nice teeth and tattoos.

Plus we learned important Irish words than what we use in America:
- Lift = Elevator
- Knickers = Underwear
- Take away = Take out
- Brown bread = Wheat
- Lu = Bathroom

After a much needed night's sleep , we traveled to Ballycastle. It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. I have attached pictures below!

More to come!
